Fireworks at the Fairgrounds 2018

Looking for a fireworks show Wednesday, July 4? Look no further than the Colusa County Fairgrounds.
At 7 PM Gates open to the Grandstands where community members can find a seat.
“This is a free community event,” said Colusa County Fair CEO, Laura Ford. “We invite everyone to come out, bring their picnic baskets and enjoy the fireworks.”
Ford said that the event is sponsored in partnership with the Colusa Flair committee.
“The committee raised the funds from local businesses and community members,” said Ford. “Without them, this event would not happen.”
In addition to the fireworks show, which begins at dark, the fairgrounds will have some treats, refreshments, and a small 4th of July ceremony.
“The Colusa County Veterans will provide the color guard, and Miss Colusa County Bailey Wilson will sing the National Anthem,” said Ford.
Ford hopes attendees will make the event a family affair.
“We invite everyone to bring their picnic baskets, and other goodies,” said Ford. “We will have some treat and refreshment vendors available, but you’re welcome to bring your own.”n
