Williams Community Church Invites Families to Shipwrecked VBS: Rescued by Jesus.

A summer family and kids’ event called Shipwrecked Vacation Bible School will be hosted at Williams Community Church from July 16-20.

At Shipwrecked, students will discover that Jesus rescues them! Families participate in memorable Bible-learning activities, sing catchy songs, play teamwork-building games, devour yummy treats, experience one-of-a-kind Bible adventures, collect Bible Memory Buddies to remind them of God’s love, and test out Sciency-Fun Gizmos they’ll take home and play with all summer long.

Plus, families and kids will learn to look for evidence of God all around them through something called God Sightings. Each day concludes with the Sail Away Sendoff that gets everyone involved in living what they’ve learned.

Families and kids at Shipwrecked VBS will join a missions effort to send shoeboxes filled with gifts to children around the world through Operation Christmas Child.

Shipwrecked is FREE for families and kids from Kindergarten through High School and will run from 6:15 PM to 8:30 PM each evening. The Church will be serving dinner each evening at 5:30 PM for a $1 donation per person. To register your family or children and have a spot reserved, call 473-5913 and leave a message. A Shipwrecked staff member will call you back to get your information over the phone.

The Williams Pioneer Review has a small staff of one, covering all of Colusa County; but we’re proud to have the assistance of a large army of community contributors to extend our range and reach. This is one of those stories. If you have a story you would like to share, please email them to: news@colusacountynews.com or give us a call.
