Frank Joseph Pfyl (1925-2018)


Frank Joseph Pfyl of Willows passed away September 27, 2018 at home with family present. Frank was born August 25, 1925 in Esparto, Ca. He was 93 and had been a Glenn County resident for most of his life.

Frank served in the Army during WWII and was a superior self taught mechanic as well as co-owner of Pfyl-Lombard Custom Hay business. Frank enjoyed Barrel Barbecuing for his family and friends especially on July 4th.

Frank is survived by his children Dennis, Denise, David and Dyanne as well as stepchildren Billy, Steven, Kimberly, Fredrick and James and a sister Elsa Johnson; and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Frank was preceded in death by wives Joyce Glenn, and LuElta “Cookie” Luck, and brothers Albert, Joseph, and sister Maria.

Graveside service will be held at 10 AM on October 6, 2018, at the Willows Cemetery.
