Bill spent his early childhood in Dixon, CA where he was active with the local Boy Scout troop and spoke often about his trip across America to the Scout Jamboree. In 1960, he and his family moved to Williams where he resided for the last 58 years.
In High School Bill participated in many sports, including track and field where he still holds the Williams High School shot put record from 1962. From there, Bill went on to play football for Yuba College and Cal Poly.
In 1965, Bill returned home to begin his farming career. In 1977, Bill married his wife of 41 years, Lynda. Together they raised five children. Bill was a hard working farmer, active community member, dedicated father always making time for his kids activities.
Bill is preceded in death by his mother and father, and sister Darcy.
He is survived by his wife Lynda; sons, Leslie (Teryn) Reynolds, Sam (Sarah) Reynolds, both of Williams; daughters, Tera (Larry) Smith of Pas Christian, MS.; Tessa (Ruben) Reynoso of Colusa, CA, Kelly Reynolds- Stephen (Adam) of Chico, CA.
He will be greatly missed by all his family but most of all by his 16 grandkids.
A Rosary service will be held on Monday, October 22, 2018 from 5:00 -8:00 p.m. at the McNary-Moore Chapel, 107 5th street, Colusa, CA 95932. A mass will be held at the Church of Annunciation, 617 8th street, Williams, CA 95987 on Tuesday October 23, 2018 at 10:00 a.m.
