CHP seeks public assistance to locate shooting suspect


The Williams Area CHP is asking for the public’s help in locating a shooting suspect who is still at large.

Law enforcement officers responded to the report of a possible gun shot victim just after midnight on Sunday in the Colusa County Fairgrounds parking lot.

A 20-year-old Williams man suffered a non-life threatening gunshot wound, the CHP said.

“The victim was transported to Rideout Hospital in Marysville for treatment,” said Williams CHP Officer, Franco Castillo. “We are investigating the incident and we ask the community for assistance.”
