NEWSPAPER PUBLISHED WEEKLY ON THURSDAY

What’s your plan? (07/03/2019)

My thoughts are still on the words printed last week. Things have been disgustingly perfect for the past few weeks and I don’t see that changing anytime soon. I am pleased to say that I have cultivated an attitude of gratitude. The Church has a lot to do with this; I have learned that the Man Up Chairs is a whole lot smarter than I am. I am conforming my will to His and that has developed a grateful heart. Someday I will miss the chaos that is the Arens Home. I sit here trying my darnedest to collect my thoughts and compose something and yet I find bliss in the tender mercy that is the Arens Girls. Their rambunctious, high-spirited zest for life creates the atmosphere of a Hard Rock concert. Everything unfolding at mega speed. They are at their best.

I’ll echo last week’s phrase on fantasizing that I have prepared my Grad for what’s to come. The preparation is a never-ending battle that I’m in until the war’s end. My admiration builds for my Mom and Dad; how’d they do it? I feel measured and found wanting. I am sure grandparents had a good hand in things. My Grad suggested that I might not be doing too badly when she recently taught her little sister a valuable lesson. The short is that the youngest was curious as to how a fictitious TV character was able to buy so many businesses. The Grad explained that those businesses generate profit and profits buy more businesses and provide those associated with income to buy things. My soap box discourses are being absorbed and distilled. She’s developing the mindset for multiple streams of income.

I am intrigued by a turn of events. I am convinced that nothing is left to chance. Your plan should include preparation to take advantage of opportunities as they present themselves. I am excited with my new association with Ramsey Education. The material passed on to me thus far is generating dividends. It complements the activity my Grad and I share and will also be of benefit to the younger two. I need to find a way to get their Mother into the mix and then who knows what (certainly He does), the sky’s the limit. I believe that we do attract. A positive mindset rejuvenates me, it is uplifting to be around; negativity and contention, not so much. Scott’s Law of Attraction, we will gravitate to those things we are most comfortable with.

The Ramsey Education workshop validates the content that you read here. You must have a plan. Does this surprise you? I like what I see and give kudos to a section they title ‘Take Action Challenge.’ There are those that don’t and those that do. Thoughts are key, they initiate achievement. Challenging us to take the information presented and act on it is the start of a journey. I hope by now that you have empowered yourself with things I have shared and your adventure is well under way. If not, start today. Lao Tzu states a journey of a thousand miles must begin with a single step. Take that step; go do something. ■
