“Not only are we looking for donations of various toys for ages toddler to nine, we are looking for donations of wrapping paper and wrapping assistants,” said CAPC program manager Carissa Bowers. “This year, we plan to setup a wrapping station for parents to wrap their gifts before they leave.”
Bowers said there were over 150 children who received gifts last year.
“We’re very thankful for the work CHP is doing in the community,” said Bowers.
Donation barrels will be set up around the county, and organizers are encouraging county residents to bring new, unwrapped toys to any of the following participating locations:
- Arbuckle: the Library, Davies Chevron, Ace Hardware, Williams: Granzella’s Restaurant, Louis Cairo’s, Dollar General, and the Williams Area CHP Office.
