Community Swimming Pools

Colusa Community Pool:

Monday through Thursday: Noon to 2:30PM, 3 to 5PM. Friday and Saturday: Noon to 2:30PM, 3 to 5PM, and 5 to 6PM. Sunday 1 to 3PM, 3 to 5PM. The cost is $2 per swimmer.

Lessons for intermediate swimmers are from 10 to 10:30 AM, beginners are from 10:30 to 11AM, and introductory lessons are from 11 to 11:30AM Lessons are $45 for a 25 minute class, $80 for 2 consecutive sessions. Registration forms are at City Hall 425 Webster Street (530) 458-5622 x101.

Maxwell Community Pool:

The Maxwell Swimming Pool will open June 22, tentatively. The hours will be:

Monday through Friday: noon to 3PM and 4 to 7PM

The cost will be $2 pending sponsored free swim day. If anyone is interested in being a sponsor, please contact Kyle Miller at (530) 501-6588 

Arbuckle Swimming Pool:

Monday through Saturday: 1 to 3PM and 3:30 to 5:30PM. Family Night Swim (dates not yet scheduled): 5:30 to 7:30PM. Kids Swim Free dates are pending donations.

The cost for swimming adults is $2, non-swimming adults $1, children 17 years old and younger free due to donations and support from the community

Swimming lessons are held Monday through Thursday at 11:30AM, noon, 6:30PM, or 7PM. Lessons cost 65$ for dates Jun 15 through June 25 and 95$ for extended dates June 15 through July 2.

Swim Club is for young swimmers that can swim but wish to work on their their stroke development and speed. The Swim Club meet Monday through Thursday; beginners 8:45AM, intermediate at 9:30AM and advanced at 7PM. The club runs from June 15 through July 16 and the cost is $120 for beginners, $110 for intermediate, and $100 for advanced swimmers.

Junior Guard will also be offered with abbreviated training to youths aged 10 to 18 years old. The Junior Guard meets Monday through Thursday at 10:30AM to 11:15AM from June 15 through July 16 and the cost is 35$.

Tentatively, water fitness will be available in the evenings two days a week and lap swim will have morning and afternoon hours

Social distancing measures will include staying 6’ apart inside the pool and will have a limited number of swimmers, personal lawn chairs are welcome for the poolside, and entrants will be required to sign a Health Declaration Form.
