NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

 

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT the PLANNING COMMISSION will hold a Public Hearing in the City Council chambers in the Colusa City Hall located at 425 Webster Street on Wednesday, September 23, 2020 at 7:00 p.m. or soon thereafter.  The meeting is for the purpose of reviewing, and making a recommendation to the City Council on, the following item(s):

Variance Application 02-20 (V) to convert an existing structure into an accessory dwelling unit (ADU), and to construct a single-vehicle carport structure, encroaching within minimum yard areas required under Zoning Ordinance Section 5.05.

PLEASE NOTE:  In order to minimize the spread of the Covid-19 virus, Governor Newsom has issued executive orders that temporarily suspend some requirements of the Brown Act.  Please be advised that the City Council Chambers are CLOSED to the general public and that some, or all, Planning Commissioners may attend the meeting telephonically or otherwise electronically. All interested parties are invited to submit comments to the Planning Department at planning@cityofcolusa.com before 5pm on September 23, 2020.  Written comments can be mailed to the Planning Department at the above address.  All comments received will be read aloud during the meeting.

Challenges to the Planning Commission’s decision may be limited only to those issues raised at the public hearing described in this notice or in written correspondence delivered to the City of Colusa at, or prior to, the public hearing.
