NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT THE CITY COUNCIL will hold a Public Hearing in the City Council chambers in the Colusa City Hall located at 425 Webster Street on Tuesday, October 6, 2020 at 6:00 p.m. or soon thereafter.  The meeting is for the purpose of reviewing and potentially approving the following items involving Colusa Industrial Properties, Wescott Ranch, LLC, and other adjacent properties:

1 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL APPROVING A GENERAL PLAN AMENDMENT  DESIGNATING APN 017-030-050 & -077 TO RESIDENTIAL LOW DENSITY; APNs: 017-030-054, -055,  078, -082, -083, -084, -094, -095, -096, & -099 (portion) AND 017-140-001 THRU -011 AND OTHER PROPERTIES TO INDUSTRIAL; APN 017-030-099 (PORTION) AND OTHER PROPERTIES TO PUBLIC FACILITIES; AND AMENDING THE CITY OF COLUSA SPHERE OF INFLUENCE

2. RESOLUTION OF APPLICATION BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLUSA REQUESTING THE COLUSA COUNTY LOCAL AGENCY FORMATION COMMISSION INITIATE PROCEEDINGS FOR THE ANNEXATION OF UNINCORPORATED TERRITORY TO THE CITY OF COLUSA INVOLVING APPROXIMATELY 684 ACRES OF PROPERTY, WITH ADJACENT PUBLIC RIGHTS-OF-WAY AND DIRECTING THE CITY MANAGER TO SUBMIT AN APPLICATION TO AMEND THE CITY’S SPHERE OF INFLUENCE

All interested parties are invited to submit comments to the Planning Department at planning@cityofcolusa.com before 5pm on October 6, 2020.  Written comments can be mailed to the Planning Department at the above address.  All comments received will be read aloud during the meeting.

Challenges to the City Council’s decision may be limited only to those issues raised at the public hearing described in this notice or in written correspondence delivered to the City of Colusa prior to the public hearing.
