COUNTY OF COLUSA
AIR POLLUTION CONTROL DISTRICT
NOW ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS
FOR THE
CARL MOYER PROGRAM

The Colusa County Air Pollution Control District (District) is now accepting applications for the Carl Moyer Memorial Air Quality Standards Attainment Program (Carl Moyer Program). We invite any company, fleet, operator, and/or individual in Colusa County who is interested in replacing existing diesel engines with new low emission engines and/or motors to apply for the Carl Moyer Program. The program is designed to provide grant funding for cleaner-than-required irrigation pump engines and/or motors. The exhausts from diesel engines are a significant source of smog-forming emissions. The District is implementing the Carl Moyer Program for the 2019/2020 fiscal year to improve the air quality in Colusa County. The Carl Moyer Program applications are available at our District Office located at 100 Sunrise Blvd., Suite A, or by visiting www.countyofcolusa.org.

Application(s) must be received by May 31, 2020.Ā  Due to limited funding, the funds will be awarded only to projects that yield the best cost-effective result. If you have any questions, please contact Casey Ryan at (530) 458-0583.
