Home for the Holidays

Aubrianna Keeler, surprised friends and family for the holidays by returning home after her online graduation from the Fort Leonard Wood Military Police School.

Recent Maxwell High School graduate, Aubrianna Keeler, surprised friends and family for the holidays by returning home after her online graduation from the Fort Leonard Wood Military Police School.

Keeler, who left just weeks after graduation this July, was a part of the Charlie Company, 787 MP Battalion.

Keeler graduated Nov. 25 from class 14-20, and after the holidays she is headed to Pittsburg, CA as a part of the 870th MP Company.

“It was difficult, but well worth it,” said Keeler. “I miss the drill sergeants the most, and loved all the training.”

But, just like most people, it will be back to work after the holidays. Keeler will start working and plans to save money for her next step: a college education.

Colusa County is proud to have one of our own out there to serve and protect.
