I first became aware of George Soros immediately after the 2016 election when Soros was funding busloads of protesters to Women’s Marches. People were paid $15/hour to be on call to go anywhere, anytime, any place and create a riot. It happened again in Ferguson.
“More than 500 of us have traveled from Boston, Chicago, Columbus, Detroit, Houston, Los Angeles, Nashville, Portland, Tucson, Washington, D.C., Winston-Salem, North Carolina, and other cities to support the people of Ferguson and help turn a local moment into a national movement,” wrote Akiba Solomon, a journalist at Colorlines. (Colorlines received $200,000 from the Soros Foundation in 2011.)
Reporters and home video began to catch the 9 busloads of fake protesters parked a few blocks away in Portland, for the Women’s Marches, in Ferguson, in Berkley. I began to notice a pattern. The looters and violent protesters were always hidden behind masks, the violence would escalate. Often the Black neighborhoods and businesses would get the brunt of the attack. If this were about Black Lives Matter, why is the Black Community itself targeted by the rioters?
Last week’s protests in Minnesota, “The people that are doing this are not Minneapolis residents,” Minneapolis Mayor Frey said of the protests on Saturday. “They are coming in largely from outside of the city, from outside of the region.” Saint Paul Mayor Carter also confirmed that every person arrested in his city last night was from out of state.”
My heart hurts, the tears flow daily as I see the plight of my Brothers and Sisters, my Black friends and family, the confusion and hurtful actions. We have an American right for protest; we do not have a right for destruction, smashing store fronts, looting, knocking down old men and kicking them in the head, shooting police officers trying to defend the stores against looters, stopping the fire department from reaching burning buildings and saving the lives of children. Four Black police officers were shot and a retired Black Police Captain was killed Monday, June 1, in a BLM – Antifa protest. The Soros -backed Circuit Attorney, Kim Gardner, released all rioters and looters with no charges made.
We need honest dialogue, love and concern, reaching out to neighbors regardless of color, ethnicity, age, gender or religion. Let us not allow our emotions to be highjacked by groups with ulterior motives. ■
