Lynda Davean Reynolds (1954-2020)

Lynda Davean Reynolds passed away on May 30, 2020 after a brief illness. She was 66 years old. Born on March 10, 1954 to Jean and David Mann in Willows, CA.  She was the eldest of four children.  She was a 1972 graduate of Princeton High School and continued her education at numerous institutions throughout her life.  She craved knowledge and her interests were endless. Lynda was the proud mother of five children, 17 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. She was a longtime resident of Williams, California where she owned a floral shop in the 80’s, sold real estate in the 90’s – 2000’s and most recently worked in food nutrition for the Williams Elementary School.  Despite her large family and her career endeavours, Lynda was civically active in her community.  She served on the Colusa County Grand Jury, founded the Colusa Certified Farmers’ Market and was a 4-H leader for many years.Lynda had countless hobbies and always managed to master anything she set her mind to.  She was an avid gardener, fantastic cook, Master Preserver (The University of California Master Food Preserver Program, 2018) and lived for her “Girl Weekends” at her cabin in Butte Meadows.

Lynda had a larger than life personality and her absence will be deeply felt by those who loved her. Her stories were colorful, her advice invaluable and her love unconditional.

Lynda is survived by her daughter Tera (Larry) Smith and children Codie, Kylie, Wyatt, Delani and Lillieand two great-grandchildren; daughter Tessa (Ruben) Reynoso and children Nicholas, Vincent and Leah; son Leslie (Teryn) Reynolds and children Lynda, Claira and Audrey; Daughter Kelly (Adam) Stephens and children Jack, Isla, Halle and Peter and her baby boy Samuel (Sarah) Reynolds and their children William and Amanda. Lynda is preceded in death by her husband of 41 years, Bill Reynolds.

Lynda will be laid to rest next to her husband in a private burial service for family and close friends.
