Life, as I See it: For What it’s Worth

It’s been a long week. I know there were those on both sides of the fence watching and waiting to see who would be the next President of the United States.

For what it’s worth, this is what I believe.

There is good and bad in all of us. However, it is our duty as Americans to respect  the Office. You may or may not like the winner in this race. Even if you don’t, it is still your duty to respect the Office and do your best to help make things good for our Nation.

It’s been a tough, tough year with the pandemic, but it’s been an even tougher year to see the violence, disrespect for nation and especially for one another.

At first, I had a fear of traveling because of the virus, but we’ve learned how to safely move in our world. I’m not sure however how to react when faced with violence and threats.

When 9/11 happened, we came together as a country. We showed pride in our flag and in one another. As terrible of a time as that was, we were stronger because we faced it as one.

So for what it’s worth, be supportive of the highest office in our government, but more importantly, be supportive of one another.

This is my birthday week. I don’t so much relish being this old, but I am thankful that I get to do it. I am thankful that I wake up each morning and know that I am loved.

May God bless us all. Life is good today.
