Nothing lifts my spirits quite like a road trip.
We don’t always have to be tourists to be entertained. This trip we’ll get back to what God made and appreciate all that it has to offer.
We bought all of this fancy camera gear a couple of years ago. It’s time to learn how to use it.
I’ve started to venture out a little more in the last few weeks, but yet it seems as if I’m housebound.
I know I’m going over the edge. One if the highlights of my day is to check to see what the virtual message on Pluto Living has to say. How many of you, like me, have become hooked on the messages from Pluto. Who knew we’d take such delight in listening to advice from a 13-year-old Schnauzer from Canada. If you haven’t watched it, take a look on the internet for it. Hilarious.
This week I had a nail appointment.
Thank goodness that our town, although small, offers the service this old girl needs to hold her together. I’m lucky to have Rylie at Ry’s & Shine Nails right here in town. She does a great job and I don’t have to drive 60 miles to get my nails done.
Tom had cataract surgery this week. All went well, but healing has been a bit tougher than usual. He wasn’t able to mow the lawn so grandson Gage came and did it. Bless him.
Tom works hard to keep our yard looking good so it was especially appreciated by him that Gage came to the rescue.
Good news. California has loosened restraints a bit. We should, this week, get to list for sale our house there. It’s been a process to move – and get the house ready to sell. Factor in the coronavirus restraints and it wasn’t exactly the plan we had.
All in good time. I’ve learned in this lifetime there is a plan; not necessarily our plan, but the right plan. We just have to be patient and wait for it. The time has finally come that we can list it. Now we wait for the day it will sell. No worries. There’s already a plan in motion.
Life is good today.
