The Colusa boys were defeated on Feb. 5 against the Pierce Bears who claimed an 84-50 victory. On Friday night, they played a close game but the visiting Warriors brought home the 66-49 win to Winters. On Friday, the boys will take on the Honkers from Willows.
The Lady RedHawks finished off the week strong. A game against the Lady Bears at Pierce on Feb. 4 was a 56-29 victory for Colusa. On Friday, in Winters, the girls walloped the Warriors 59-24. On Friday, Willows will be playing on the Colusa court.
The Maxwell boys struggled through the week. A Feb. 5 home game against Quincy ended with the Trojans on top, 72-42. In Biggs, the boys were defeated 38-32 by the Wolverines on Friday. Tonight they will play in Esparto.
The Lady Panthers had a rough night on Feb. 5 in Quincy where they were defeated 50-24 by the trojans. The girls play tonight in Esparto against the Spartans.
The Pierce boys enjoyed a victorious week with a home win against Colusa, 84-50 on Feb. 5. The boys won against the Live Oak Lions on Friday 59-48.
The Lady Bears were unable to beat the RedHawks on Feb. 4 during an away game. The final score was 56-29.
The Princeton boys struggled this week with close games but with without the satisfaction of a win. On Feb. 4, the Paradise Adventist Academy Cougars came away with a 52-45 win over the Eagles. On Thursday in Westwood, the Lumberjacks bested the Eagles, 60-53. The Princeton boys and girls will play Greenville on Friday against the Indians.
The Williams boys were unable to beat the East Nicolaus Spartans, 58-48, on Feb. 4. In Hamilton, the Yellowjackets were victorious against the Braves on Thursday, 52-48.
Tonight the boys will face the Trojans from Durham.
The Lady Jackets were not able to bring in the wins for the week. The East Nicolaus Spartans took home a 20-16 victory on Feb. 5. In Hamilton City on Friday, the Braves scored a 58-28 win against the Lady Jackets. Tonight the girls will have a chance at redemption when they face the Spartans in East Nicolaus.
The Colusa boys continue kicking their competition to the curb. In Palo Cedro on Feb. 4, the boys dominated the Redding Christian Lions 8-0. When the Bulldogs came from los Molios on Thursday, the RedHawks won 7-1. The boys and girls from Colusa will play in Durham on Thursday.
The Pierce boys struggled with defeat against the Yellowjackets on Feb. 4, losing 2-1. On Thursday in Hamilton, the Bears fell to the Braves, 4-3.
The Lady Bears went head-to-head with Williams Lady Jackets on Feb. 4 and tied 3-3. In Hamilton, they brought back a 3-1 victory against the Braves.
The Williams boys were successful Feb. 4 against Pierce when they brought home a 2-1 victory. However, on Thursday the Yellowjackets returned from Winters without a win, 4-3.
A home game against the Lions from Redding Christian will take place tonight.
The Lady Jackets were evenly matched 3-3 against the Lady Bears on Pierce’s turf on Feb. 4. In Winters, the girls lost 4-1 on Thursday against the Warriors.
