A pretrial conference is scheduled Monday, March 22, for Johnny Randall Sanchinelli-Huttman, 38, of Stonyford. Sanchinelli-Huttman was charged by the District Attorney Jan. 15, 2001 with one count of felony child molesting and one misdemeanor charge of contributing to the delinquency of a person under the age of 18. Sanchinelli-Huttman has pleaded not guilty.

Colusa County Superior Court Judge Jeffrey A. Thompson found sufficient cause to charge Alec Villarreal, 40, of Live Oak, with assault by means likely to cause great bodily injury and criminal threats following a preliminary hearing on March 8. Villarreal is accused of attacking Alex Uribe at the trailer park on Balsdon Street in Grimes on Dec. 29. He is scheduled to be arraigned on April 5 and has been ordered to have no contact with the alleged victim.

Colusa County Superior Court Judge Jeffrey A. Thompson found sufficient cause to charge Manuel Mesa, 34, of Colusa, with battery on a spouse following a preliminary hearing on March 8. He is scheduled to be arraigned April 8.

Kaitlyn Marie West, 24, of Yreka pleaded not guilty on March 15 after nearly seven months on the run. West is facing charges alleging conspiracy to commit a crime, evading an officer with willful disregard to the safety of the public, possession of a controlled substance, and resisting a peace officer. A preliminary hearing has been scheduled in Colusa County Superior Court on April 5. West’s alleged co-conspirator, Matthew Thomas Henry Hobbs, is wanted on a $30,000 bench warrant for failure to appear in court.

Colusa County Superior Court Judge Jeffrey A. Thompson found sufficient cause to charge Richard Domingo Flores, Sr., 34, of Colusa, with corporal injury to a spouse, following a preliminary hearing on March 15. Flores was arrested on a $100,000 bench warrant on Feb. 19 after he failed to appear in court on July 1, 2020. He is scheduled to appear in Colusa County Court to answer to the charges on March 22.
