A $75,000 bench warrant was issued on Monday for the arrest of Naomi Jovon Ricca-Gomes, 37, of Magalia, for failure to appear in Colusa County Superior Court on March 22. Ricca-Gomes is facing charges of Violation of Probation for failing to report and submit to drug testing. Gomes was on probation in connection to a July 8, 2020, conviction of receiving stolen property (motor vehicle). Ricca-Gomes, who has a lengthy criminal history in the North State, was arrested by the Colusa Police Department on Jan. 3, 2019, along with Kody Lewis Barnes, 38, of Olivehurst, for possession of a 2000 Mitsubishi Montero with a trailer attached that was reported stolen from Yuba City. Ricca-Gomes pleaded guilty to possessing stolen property in a plea that dismissed two other felony charges.
