The State Degree is the highest in each state achieved by demonstrating an exceptional amount of time into an SAE project and local chapter.
Recipients, Senior member Rosa Corona raised market hogs and worked at Durst Organics over the summer. Junior member Nate Pitzner worked at Cabral Farms in the rice fields and almonds orchards. Madison Pearson raised market lambs, helped maintain the family garden, and worked in the orchards. Paige Vierra raised market hogs and worked for Ottenwalter Show pigs. Shane Danley raised market hogs, farmed the High School Rice Field, and worked for Rancho Lahola during harvest.
These five Maxwell FFA Chapter members are now eligible to work towards the highest degree achievable in the National FFA Organization, American FFA Degree.
