Lois spent her life helping Joe at the sheep ranch, raising her family, and volunteering in the Maxwell community as a catechism teacher, swim instructor, 4-H leader, and school and sports chaperone. She loved sewing and doing crafts. Many people still have her cabbage patch dolls, Christmas ornaments, quilts, and pressed flower bookmarks. She enjoyed spending time at her Sites family summer home at Shingletown, Ca. called Cold Springs.
Lois was preceded in death by her husband Joe and sons Daniel and David.
She is survived by her daughter Laurel Etchepare (Roger Gomez), daughter-in-law Liz Etchepare, grandchildren Britton, Brent, David Ryan, and Alex Etchepare, and numerous nephews and nieces.
Services for Lois were at the Maxwell Catholic Church on March 17, 2021.
Friends wishing to honor Lois may make a donation to ALS Association, Maxwell Sacred Heart Church, or local youth charities such a Maxwell Parks and Recreation.
