Nancy Lynn Hatcher McCullough was born August 12, 1940, to Kelsey and Betty Ann Hatcher in Woodland, CA, and was raised on County Road 15, Yolo County, on property that was settled by her Great-great-grandfather in 1852.
She passed away peacefully on April 5, 2021. Nancy married Jim Goodman and had two sons, Douglas Lee and Elmer Todd. They divorced, and she later married Victor “Shorty” McCullough.
Nancy is predeceased by her parents; husband Shorty McCullough; sister-in-law Leigh Hatcher; grandson Ryan Goodman; and son-in-law Frank Aulgur.
She is survived by her sons Doug (Michele) of Esparto, and Todd of Red Bluff, brother John Hatcher of Williams, and brother Bill Hatcher of Yolo, step-son Steve McCullough (Susie) of Arbuckle, step-daughter Linda Aulgur of Arbuckle, Grandchildren Sam Aulgur, Jake Aulgur, Hattie Knowles, Minda Yray, Mitchell McCullough, and numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Nancy lived most of her life in Dunnigan, and then she and Shorty moved to Mineral, CA, and enjoyed life in the mountains.
She loved tending to her yard and growing beautiful flowers for everyone to enjoy as they walked by her yard. If she was out when you walked by, you always heard a story from her.
Graveside services will be held April 30, 2021, at 10:00 a.m. at Mary’s Cemetery in Yolo.
