My trip was one of the best, though. It was so great to have time with folks I’ve missed this past year.
The trip home with Jodi and Velvet was a lot of fun. It’s always a bonus to spend time with those two.
But now I’m home where I belong. Life goes on.
I loved being at the ocean again, but I admit there were times (in traffic) that I longed for the quiet of North Dakota.
Chloe kitty is extremely happy to see me. However, she finally bonded with Tom while I was gone. I guess she figured out he was the guy providing her food. Rocky, the Shih Tzu, has grown, but his manners still need work. It’s a process!
Tomorrow I get my second vaccine. Tom breezed through his, so I’m hoping for the same.
This trip has helped me relax a little. I’m less fearful of leaving my house. Aside from the masked masses, it seemed close to normal.
There is just so much going on in our world these days. We can either hide or move forward. I want to move forward.
I’m home again, and life is good today.
