CITY OF WILLIAMS PUBLIC NOTICE OF VACANCIES ON CITY COMMISSIONS

The City of Williams is in need of members on 3 City Commissions as follows:

Planning Commission – One Member – term ending December 31, 2012. Specific duties and responsibilities of Commissioners are prescribed in the Subdivision Map Act and the Planning and Zoning Law which are with the Government Code. Specific information regarding these duties can be found in those sections or by contacting the City Planner at 473-2955, Extension 103.

Recreation Commission – Two Members – term ending December 31, 2014. Some of the specific duties include matters pertaining to the planning and development of parks, cultural activities, historical resources, recreation and capital expenditures; coordinate activities related to community recreation activities, parks and a recreation system. For further information regarding this Commission, contact the City Recreation Manager at 473-2955, Extension 117.
