Fun Run and Walk in Williams

Do you need to renew your New Year’s Resolution?  Are you “almost in shape” and can, at least, walk a mile?  The 5th Annual Fun Run is happening in Williams on Saturday, May 19.  This is the run that has a cheerleader on nearly every corner yelling for you to do your best.  The gun goes off at 8:00 a.m. and there are two different distances to choose from:  a 1 mile or a 5K, which is 3.1 miles.  Both courses are on the streets of Williams.  The pre-registration deadline is May 11 for $20 and the entry fee goes up to $25 after that and the day of the event.  There is also a free Kid’s Challenge on the track for little people 9 and under.  There are age group awards, ribbons, prizes, and refreshments for all.  All proceeds this year go to Williams High School for the purpose of obtaining an electronic sign for the front lawn.  Come and join the fun and walk/run with your friends.  For questions or an entry form, call Cindy at 681-8919.
