Colusa County Breast Cancer Fund to Hold Fundraising Walk & Run

The Colusa County Breast Cancer Fund is hosting its 5th Annual Breast Cancer Walk & Run Fundraiser on October 8, 2011 at the Colusa Regional Medical Center Parking Lot. Registration for the walk/run event will begin at 9am. Opening ceremonies begin at 10am.

There will also be vendors and entertainment after the walk has been completed.

In addition to the walk, the Colusa Regional Medical Center is providing Low Cost Breast Cancer screening services from 11am to 2pm. Appointments requested in advance please call 530.458.5003.

Registration Fee for the walk is a $20 donation.

In addition to the walk & run, the organized group is raffling off your chance to drive a derby car in the 2012 Colusa County Fair Demolition Derby. Drivers must be 18 years of age witha valid drivers licence. Driver can not be under the influence of alcahol. Winner will be announce at the derby.

Prices are $4 per ticket, $7 for 2, and $10 for 3. Each ticket gets you one step closer to driving a 1970 AMC Gremlin. For tickets or info call (530) 218-7878. ■
