Annual Pheasant Festival to be Held

2010 Phesant Festival, Dinner & Bazaar. (Submitted Photo)

Sacramento Valley and the Sacramento delta region are among some of the hottest pheasant hunting grounds in California. To celebrate the opening of the season, Our Lady of Lourdes Parish holds its annual dinner and bazaar.

Come out to a fun and relaxed evening filled with great food and better friends on Saturday, November 12th from 4:00pm to 8:00pm at the Colusa County Fairgrounds.

This down to earth evening includes a tri-tip dinner with all the fixings, dessert, country store, cash prize raffle and a stellar Silent Auction. No worries about occupying the kids either, an entire room is dedicated to their amusement. Adults can eat for only $14.00 and children 10 years old and younger are only $7.00.

What a great way to come out and support the most successful fundraiser of the year for Our Lady of Lourdes. The entire event is hosted and organized by volunteers and all proceeds will be sent directly to Our Lady of Lourdes School, benefiting over 120 students. The school and parish would like to extend their gratitude for the gracious and generous support of the community.

The event averages an attendance of nearly 400 people each year and plays a critical role in the success of Our Lady of Lourdes School. Be sure to grab a dinner ticket from the school or purchase at the door. For more information, please contact Our Lady of Lourdes School office at 530-458-8208.
