Free Holiday Movie Day at Fairgrounds

Christmas is just around the corner, and the Colusa County Fairgrounds will host a pre-holiday event for the community.

On December 20, 2015, the community is invited to free holiday movies to be screened at the Stagehands Theatre at the Fairgrounds.

Two movies will be shown. “How the Grinch Stole Christmas” is playing at 12 noon and the “Polar Express” will begin at 3 pm.

Seating is limited in the theatre so plan to arrive early.

Fairgrounds chief executive officer Jonathan Howard said he was excited to do a holiday event.

“I think our area families will enjoy this,” said Howard, “I remember as a kid going to the special Christmas movies and how excited I was,” he said.

Howard commented that it was all about doing something for the children.

“This is just another way that we at the Colusa County Fairgrounds are reaching out to our community,” said Howard.

Between movies, there is a chance that Santa Claus may make an appearance. For more information contact the Colusa County Fairgrounds (530) 458-2641.
