Valentine’s Dinner and Dance at the Colusa County Fairgrounds

With Valentine’s Day just under a month away, now is the time to plan that special evening with your sweetheart.

Make your planning easy and spend an evening with the Colusa County Fair Foundation as (CCFF) they host the second annual Red & White Bash on Saturday, February 13, 2016, at the Colusa County Fairgrounds.

“Join us for dinner and dancing to celebrate our love for the Colusa County Fairgrounds,” said Shiela Etchepare, CCFF Board Member.

The evening will begin at 6:00 PM with no-host cocktails and an exceptional dinner prepared by Rocco’s Bar & Grill will be served at 7:00 PM.

The Sacramento Band, Proxy will perform live as guest dance and enjoy a delicious dinner and browse fabulous raffle prizes.

This year, the Red & White Bash will raffle an opportunity to win “A California Road Trip” a choice between a trip to the California wine country, a trip to a California beach, visit a California Ski Resort, or relax at a California Golf Course. The ‘California Road Trip” raffle tickets are available for $20 each, or six for $100. The drawing will be held during the Red & White Bash, and attendance is not required to win.

With the Colusa County Fair Foundation acting as a separate nonprofit entity from the fair board, the proceeds from the dinner will supplement funding for maintenance, upgrades and overall fairgrounds improvements.

The Colusa County Fair Foundation was formed after the State of California reduced its funding for county fairs.

“We are here to help sustain the viability and maintenance of the 55-acre facility and meeting the needs of the fairgrounds with funds raised,” said Etchepare.

Tickets to the Red & White Bash are $75 per person and are on sale at Messicks Hardware and the Colusa County Fair Office.
