Chamber of Commerce seeking board nominations

The Colusa County Chamber of Commerce is seeking nominations to fill vacancies on its Board of Directors.

Eight positions are available for a 2-year term starting January 2017. The following directors’ terms expire on Dec. 31: Nick Reading, Ed Hulbert, Ben Felt, Daniel O’Connell Jr, Dick Armocido, Don Litchfield, Diane Schuman, and John Ashbaugh.

Nomination forms have been sent to Chamber members and are due no later than Monday, Oct. 31.

To be eligible for a board of director seat, the individual must be a current member of the chamber of commerce. Chamber members can nominate themselves or other Chamber members for candidacy.

Those nominated will be contacted to confirm their desire to serve on the Chamber Board of Directors, prior to ballots being mailed.

Ballots will be sent out on Tuesday, Nov. 15, and must be returned no later than 5 PM on Wednesday, Nov. 30.
