Robin Michael Barnes (1963 – 2017)

Robin “Robbie” Michael Barnes passed away unexpectedly in Reno, NV on June 17, 2017.  He was born in Salinas, CA to Neva and Reese Barnes on November 1, 1963.

From the time he was a small child, Robin took interest in a variety of hobbies. Motorcycles were his first desire; he later ventured into other motor sports including ATV riding and became an avid outdoorsman enjoying fishing, hunting and adventure.

Robbie established a very special bond with his mother and their close relationship was evident up until his passing.  He was known to be a very caring, soft spoken individual; his kind nature radiated onto everyone who met him and he will be greatly missed.

Robin was extremely intelligent and worked for over 25 years for the United States Airforce providing his expertise in Air Mechanics touring in Iraq to aid our country four times. After his retirement, he stayed busy working seasonally for Colusa Sunsweet during prune harvest as well as for Colusa “DFA” as a walnut grinder.

Robin was preceded in death by his father Reece Barnes. He is survived by his mother Neva Barnes, Sisters Debbie Norman, Donna Deener and Linda Fergson as well as several nieces and nephews.

Evening Service &Visitation will be held on Wed. June 28, 2017 from 5-8pm at McNary-Moore Chapel, 107 5th Street, Colusa. Graveside Services will take place on Thursday, June 29th at 10:30AM at the Gridley-Biggs Cemetery, 2023 CA-99, Biggs, CA.
