“It was a phenomenal car show,” said Debbie Charter, Arbuckle Car Show volunteer. “We had more cars than ever; it was a great day.”
Those words were echoed by many car show spectators as they browsed, shared, and explored the 301 cars in attendance.
“It was a great day to have a car show,” said Jacqueline Gonzalez, an Arbuckle Revitalization Committee, board member. “We had a great raffle this year that raised over $2,300.”
The beautiful, sunny, autumn day greeted spectators where the streets of downtown Arbuckle were filled with hot rods, vintage trucks, and classic cars.
Everyone loves a parade and during Sunday’s car show children dressed as pirates, vampires, rock stars, and ninja turtles, marched through the car show and were greeted with joy from car enthusiasts.
This year, the Grindstone Winery crew prepared a mouthwatering barbecue tri-tip lunch, cooking over 400 pounds of meat for the event. ■
