Santa making several stops in Colusa County

Santa Claus is expected to have a packed schedule over the next four weeks as he tours the world to visit with children, pose for photographs, and take final gift requests. As usual, several stops will be within the Colusa County area to the absolute delight of our county’s youngest residents.

Making his way through each community, Santa Claus will be checking his list and adding a little extra holiday cheer for the children.

This Sunday, Dec. 10, at 6 PM, Santa Claus will visit the community of Arbuckle, escorted by the Arbuckle Volunteer Fire Department. He’ll begin at the Salt Creek and Peerless Ave. neighborhood. At 6:15 PM, he’ll pay visit to the Alexander Apartments, and then to the Cross Creek Apartments. At 6:45 PM, he will visit Honey Grove on Dolbow Ln. and William St.. Making his way through town, he will visit the children along Tactius St. and Hall St. around 7:10 PM. At 7:30 PM, Santa will visit Hall and 1st Streets then make his way to West 8th St., and Kleeman St at 7:45 PM. He’ll conclude his visit to Arbuckle around 8 PM with a visit to Allison Way.

On Monday, Dec. 11, Santa Claus will begin his journey through the neighborhoods of Colusa starting at Levee and 13th, and ending at Clay and 1st Street. On Tuesday, Dec. 13, he will start his journey at Parkhill and 1st Streets and end at Sioc and Baber St. . On Wednesday, Dec. 13, Santa will visit the neighborhoods between 3rd and Sioc Streets and ending on Wescott Rd. Then on Thursday, Dec. 14, Santa will visit the Country Club, Indian Oaks and Walnut Ranch neighborhoods; and finally on Friday, Dec. 15 he’ll visit the Colusa Rancheria.

On Saturday, Dec. 16, Santa will be at Maxwell’s Country Christmas where he will greet neighborhood children at the Maxwell Fire Department at 6 PM.

Making a last minute visit, Santa Claus will join the Williams Fire Department at 3:00 PM on Sunday, Dec. 24, for last minute Christmas wishes. Santa will be at the Williams Fire Hall, 810 E St.
