Seeking artwork for its premium book, the Colusa County Fair has announced it will begin accepting entries for its annual logo contest for the 2018 event.
With “H20 makes things grow” as the theme for the 2018 Colusa County Fair, held June 7-10, entrants will have the task of creating original artwork for display.
“We welcome anyone to enter the contest,” said Colusa County Fair Interm CEO, Laura Ford, “We welcome entries from professionals or amateurs.”
Once selected fair officials will use the logo in various marketing materials for the event. The winner will receive $50 and two fair admission tickets.
All entries must be received at the Fairgrounds Office, 1303 10th St., Colusa, CA 95932 no later than Friday, Feb. 9 by 5:00 PM.
Artwork can be submitted as an original flat artwork or digital creation, no larger than 8” x 10” and no smaller than 4” x 6”. Original artwork must be provided for the Fair to scan. Digital art must be submitted electronically to firstname.lastname@example.org. All artwork submitted becomes the property of the Colusa County Fair. The Colusa County Fair has unlimited rights to use the winning artwork for marketing the Fair. Entries may be returned after the Fair if requested.
Entries will be judged, and the winner will be notified by Fair Management no later than Feb. 28.
