Born in French Camp, CA on March 19, 1952 to Darald and Lillian, Ronnie Steven Loudon, a 57-year resident of Colusa, CA passed away at his home on April 20, 2018 at the age of 66. He was surrounded by his family and beloved dog, Sadie Mae.
Ronnie worked for the City of Colusa in the Water and Sewer Department for 33 years in many capacities including management. He then served as the Esparto Community Services District General Manager for 5 years before he retired in 2010. He was a lifetime member of Wilderness Unlimited as well as the American Water Association. He was even an Honorary Girl Scout due to being so involved with his daughters activities. Ron enjoyed working on cars, fishing, camping, coaching girls softball and making jewelry.
Ronnie was preceded in death by his mother and step-father, Lillian and Manie Borges and his father Darald Loudon. He will be deeply missed by his high school sweetheart, best friend, and wife of 45 years, Nancy Cale Loudon of Colusa; his daughters, Tana Loudon and Lynn (Dusty) Whiting, both of Colusa; two grandchildren Lillian Dye and Logan Whiting as well as a brother, John (Nancy) Loudon of Colusa; and two sisters, JoAnn Schwartz of Yuba City and Lori Garofalo of Colusa.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 10 AM on April 30, 2018 at McNary-Moore Funeral Service, 107 5th Street, Colusa, CA.
