Patricia Beacham, 90, of Colusa, passed away at Colusa Medical Center May 22, 2018. She was born March 15, 1928 in Fargo, North Dakota to Marion and Everett Ebeltoft. She moved to Colusa with her husband Robert in 1987.
Patricia was a homemaker and mother extraordinaire who also worked over 20 years for Educational Testing Services in Berkeley, California. She was an amazing talent excelling in stitchery, china painting and tole painting. She enjoyed sharing these passions with her sisters, daughter and nieces. She square danced, golfed, bowled in the Colusa Senior League and loved traveling. The three sisters raised their families together, especially enjoying summers at their cabin in South Lake Tahoe. Pat participated in many card and domino playing groups cherishing the friendships.
The Colusa Hospital Auxiliary was fortunate to have Pat’s expertise as a dedicated volunteer for 30 years. She served as treasurer most of those years. She was devoted to Telecare making her calls to check on the shut-ins.
Patricia is survived by sisters: Ardie Blades and Jeanne Blades, sons: Ray (Lezlee) Wiles, David (Angel) Wiles, Daughter: Joy Wiles, numerous grand-children and great grandchildren and many loving nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husbands John Wiles and Robert Beacham. She leaves many friends who loved her dearly.
Pat loved people bringing sunshine to the lives of those around her. Her favorite saying was: “Be sure to come back. Promise.” She will be deeply missed.
