Arbuckle wins grand prize in National Reading Challenge

Epic!, a leading digital media brand for kids, challenged classrooms across the country to read a total of eight million books during Epic!’s Fall into Reading Challenge from October 1 to October 5, 2018. Classrooms read a total of 8,500,424 books in the five-day challenge, surpassing the goal!

All elementary school classes that collectively read 50 or more books on Epic! during the Fall into Reading Challenge earned a special Epic! in-app badge and Reading Certificate to display in their classrooms. The top 10 classes with the most books read also won a 6-month home subscription for the entire class, plus a cider and donuts party.

The Fall into Reading Challenge is Epic!’s most ambitious reading contest to date. The Spring Into Reading Challenge from last school year challenged classes to read seven million books during a five-day period. In total, over 7.3 million books were read by more than 20,000 classrooms across the country.
