The Colusa County Chamber of Commerce helped celebrate the second generation of Gidel dentistry in Colusa during an open house on Jan. 17, 2019, honoring the retirement of Dr. Clay Gidel and the transfer of his practice to his son, Dr. Chad Gidel.
Dr. Chad Gidel, who joined the practice last August, graduated with honors from A.T. Still University of Health Sciences, in Mesa, Ariz.
His staff of seven includes his sister, Shaila (Gidel) Brown, and Alicia Mena, dental hygienists; Paula Ferraiulo and Andi Robledo, registered dental assistants; Patient Care Coordinator Yolanda Navarro, and Office Manager Shari Miller.
Chamber of Commerce members, friends, members of the community, and family, including Dr. Gidel’s wife Ashley and sons Declan and Keston, helped launch the transfer of the practice on Thursday with the ceremonial cutting of a red ribbon.
Dr. Gidel’s family and cosmetic practice is located at 3000 Davison Court, in Colusa. New patients are welcomed. ■
