Colusa LAFCO – Notice of Public Hearing

COLUSA LOCAL AGENCY FORMATION COMMISSION
NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN by the Local Agency Formation Commission that a public hearing will be held on June 6, 2019 at 3:00 p.m. in the Colusa County Board of Supervisor’s Chambers 546 Jay Street, Colusa, California, regarding the following:

1. Final 2019-2020 LAFCO Budget. The Commission will consider the final 2019-2020 budget to make a final determination thereon by the Commission. Any person may be heard regarding the increase, decrease, or omission of any item from the budget or for the inclusion of additional items. Persons may attend and be heard at the time and place of the hearing.

2. Dissolution of the Century Ranch Water District and the Hazel Court CSA as required under Gov. Code Section 56879(b). The Commission intends to dissolve these districts after receiving notice from the State Controller’s Office.

3. Consider granting a new and different service for the RD-108 to participate in hydropower projects as part of the Sites Reservoir Joint Powers Authority. In order for the RD-108 to participate in the Sites JPA, it needs to have the authority to participate in hydroelectric generation projects.

If you challenge the action of the Commission on any of the above stated items in court, it may be limited to only those issues raised at the public hearing described in this notice, or in written correspondence delivered to the Colusa Local Agency Formation Commission prior to the conclusion of the public hearing.
