Search continues for missing teen

The Colusa County Sheriff’s Department continues to search for 18-year-old, Jose Canchola. 

According to police, Canchola was last seen around 3 AM Sunday, Oct. 27,  leaving a residence on Myers Road in Williams.

The Colusa County Sheriff’s Office said it is actively investigating the case and continues to conduct searches throughout the area. 

Canchola is described as a Hispanic male, 6’, 135 lbs. with black hair and brown eyes. 

He was last seen wearing blue jeans and a camouflage hooded sweater.

The Colusa County Sheriff’s Department has launched an investigation into the search of a missing 18-year-old male. Police say that Jose Canchola was last seen around 3 AM Sunday leaving a residence on Myers Road in Williams.

Canchola is described as a Hispanic male, 6’ 0″, 135 lbs. with black hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing blue jeans and a camouflage hooded sweater. 

On Monday, Oct. 28, the Colusa County Sheriff’s Office performed a large search and rescue operation in the area of Lonestar Road and Myers Road in Williams. 

“A search by vehicle, foot, and the air was conducted with negative results at this time. Further search operations are currently underway,” said Assistant Sheriff Mike Bradwell in a press release.

Agencies assisting in the search operation were local fire departments, pilots and the Colusa County Search and Rescue Team.
