NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING 

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT the Colusa County Board of Supervisors will hold a Public Hearing on Tuesday, November 5, 2019 at 9:30 a.m. in the Board of Supervisors Chambers at 546 Jay Street, Suite 108, Colusa, CA. to solicit comments on the dissolution of the County’s Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program’s Housing Revolving Loan Fund (RLF) and Economic Development Revolving Loan Fund (RLF) and the establishment of a single Program Income Fund.

The County’s CDBG Housing RLF has a balance of approximately $460,000 and is used to fund the County’s Housing Rehabilitation and Homebuyer Assistance Programs.  The County’s CDBG Economic Development RLF has a balance of approximately $563,000 and is used to fund the County’s Microenterprise Loans and Grants and its Business Assistance Program.  The proposal would dissolve these funds and transfer them to a single Program Income Fund.  The use of these funds would be governed by the County’s CDBG Program Income Reuse Agreement with the California Department of Housing and Community Development and all other State and Federal CDBG regulations.

The purpose of the public hearing is to allow all interested individuals to participate in the decision making process and to make their comments known to the Board regarding the proposed dissolution of the County’s CDBG RLF’s and the creation of a single Program Income Fund.
