County of Colusa Notice of Election



Notice is hereby given that the Presidential Primary Election will be held in Colusa County on March 3, 2020, in accordance with the provisions of the Elections Laws of the State of California. Offices for which candidates will be nominated or elected at said election are as follows:

  • President of the United States
  • U.S. Representative Congressional District 3
  • State Assembly Member District 3 
  • State Assembly Member District 4 
  • County Supervisor District 2 
  • County Supervisor District 3
  • County Supervisor District 4

Nomination Petitions and Declaration of Candidacy papers may be obtained at the Colusa County Elections Office beginning on November 12, 2019 and must be filed in that office by the deadline of December 6, 2019, 5:00 p.m. The Colusa County Elections office is located at the Hall of Records, 546 Jay Street, Suite 200, Colusa, CA  95932. Nomination Petitions and Declaration of Candidacy papers must be filed by 5 p.m. December 6, 2019 at the Elections Office. Declarations of Candidacy will not be accepted after 5 p.m. on December 6, 2019 unless the incumbent does not file. In the event that the incumbent does not file, the filing deadline is extended five days to 5 p.m. December 11, 2019 for anyone other than the incumbent.

Notice is further given that the polling places for said election will be open from 7:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. All ballots cast in said election will be counted centrally at the Colusa County Elections Office, Clerk-Recorder Registrar of Voters, Hall of Records, 546 Jay Street, Suite 200, Colusa, CA  95932.
